Monitor Hetzner Cloud with MrCron
MrCron tracks Hetzner Cloud servers, volumes, and load balancers every 5 minutes so you catch stopped servers and quota pressure without leaving the dashboard.
How MrCron monitors Hetzner Cloud
- Server count total and running per Hetzner project.
- Volume count and load balancer count on the project.
- Non-running server alerts on any server in a stopped or off state.
- Auth-failure detection with an amber Rotate key CTA when the API token stops working.
- Alert rules that fire on server state changes via any notification channel.
What you will see
Servers total/running, volumes, load balancers + non-running server alerts.
Auth flow: API Key. Credentials are stored encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never returned to your browser.

Frequently asked questions
- What Hetzner Cloud credentials does MrCron need?
- A Hetzner Cloud API token from the project security page. MrCron stores it encrypted at rest and never returns the token to your browser.
- Does MrCron support Hetzner dedicated Robot servers?
- Not yet. MrCron reads the Hetzner Cloud API only. Robot (dedicated bare-metal) monitoring is a candidate for a future cycle.
- How is a non-running server detected?
- MrCron reads the server status field on each Hetzner project. STARTING, RUNNING, and MIGRATING count as running; STOPPING, OFF, DELETING, REBUILDING, and UNKNOWN count as non-running.
- Can I attach multiple Hetzner projects?
- Yes. Attach one Hetzner integration per MrCron project; each carries its own API token and project scope.
